Dear readers,

Goodness the last update was in January! How terrible of me! So my winter exams came and went, and I passed well with a first in Sociology and a 2:1 in Religious Studies. Currently I writing an essay for Buddhism, and after that I am writing a research proposal for Sociology... and then I have summer exams TT_TT (I really wished I worked harder in school the first time around so I didn’t have to being doing this all again). But never mind. At least I’m trying to make amends for my wasted youth.
In the world of my stories, I have place Fox Girl on hiatus, because I’m struggling to keep one story going, let alone two. It will be completed, I have been working on chapters for nearly a year so I do have some material to work with. Vampire in the Pink Wedding Dress is building up to some serious drama! I am very excited about this, and keep having to reframe myself from writing everything down too quickly, and end up compromising on length and quality! >.< With exams looming, I will try and write some chapter in between revision sessions, but bear in mind work is really heavy. On the plus side in two months I should be finished for the summer… which will be awesome! Then I will start work on Fox Girl and hopefully end Vampire in the Pink Wedding Dress.

What about upcoming projects? People have been sending me a lot of mail, asking about who I will write about next? Well Bite.2 will be next, along with my next book in my vampire saga. Many people want to know which couple I will be writing about next, and because I don’t like keeping you guys in the dark, I can tell you the next couple will be Stephanie and Aidan. Their relationship ended on a really bad note, and Aidan in wants revenge…. It’s going to mega awesome, because there will be a time gap so Stephanie and Aidan are a little older, and Dahlia instead of a baby is a preteen.
Okay, there is one last thing I want to share with you guys as a kind of apology for not updating enough. Below is a video that my sister took, of my dog barking in his sleep. It’s super cute, so I hope you like it! My dog’s name is Pilot, he is a liver spotted Dalmatian, who we rescued five days before Christmas. He was only five months old when we got him because his old owners had a child who was allergic to him:( We have had him for six years now, and he absolutely adored. Pilot’s favourite things are cakes, cuddles and his toy shark Bubba.

Exam Drama Over

Dear readers,

Finally exam period has finished and for three whole day I will have nothing to do :D So I guess that means some updates are due! I’m currently writing an update for VIPWD, and yes, I know Fox Girl needs an update to, so I will try and get that sorted this weekend.
If any of you read my status bar, then you’ll know I’m having issues with plagiarists. My old account on Quizilla allowed copy and paste, and that’s what people have been doing. On the upside they can only copy and paste the old versions of my stories which are full of typos and errors… so I guess I have to thank God for the small mercies. I have contacted Wattpad asking for advice, but I doubt there is anything I can legally do living outside the US. Grrrr….

Because of all this drama I am going to be deleting my Quizilla account... but even this is proving problematic. Since Quizilla has been taken over by whoever took over it and killed the poor pencil monster, the system has been super glitchey. I have had trouble updating, saving changes, making changes… just everything on that site is mess. So currently my Quizilla account is still available but it will get shut down… hopefully.

After getting that off my chest, we should focus on some happy news. It’s snowing in Wales! I’m sat in my halls of residences watching a light flurry of snow drift past my window. The snow has been here for a week now. Each time it tries to melt another dusting of snow come along to blanket the rooftops and roads. Snow is very pretty, but always comes along on the wrong side of Christmas. I would love a white Christmas! January and February are depressing months. Christmas has come and gone, winter is getting boring and spring seems a million light years away. Never mind, January has almost passed and I will look forward to the snow drops in February!

Christmas Time

Hey peeps!!

Been a while since I last posted and thought that I should squeeze in one last post before the New Year. So another Christmas passes and have a mountain of work to do between now and January, *weeps*. A lot of you have been asking about updates and I'm trying to squeeze them in between revision and essay writing.
My university is going fine! I got a first for my Social Policy essay- YAY! Not that you guys would know anything about my Social Policy essay, because I haven't updated since summer, but I thought I would share that little slice of happiness with you.
Oh gosh, I need to mention Fox Girl, I haven't updated since August but I am working on updates. At the movement I'm on a roll with VIPWD....bit of laboured acronym there.... so I'm focusing on that and trying to get that project completed before moving on the next one. Editing work on Married to the Prince of Darkness is also coming along nicely... omg can't believe it has five million hits O_o when did that happen?
Nothing else really to report :) Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year !!!

Summertime

Dear readers,

I have sorted out my university place and will be off to Wales on a new adventure. At the moment I am working and writing and working and...well working. I need to do more writing though. I desperately need to do more writing. Currently I am writing an update for Vampire in the Pink Wedding Dress which I am really excited about publishing, but gawd it has been slow going. I guess I'm just too busy stressing about real life. Going back to university as a mature student is really starting to worry me :( I keep having anxiety dreams that all my house mates will hate me because I am old and boring >,< I know age shouldn't hypothetically be a problem but I am such a worrier. My greatest talent is making mountains out of molehills lol!
On a positive note the last few days have really felt like summer! I have been able to wear my maxi dress and sandals and sit out in the garden enjoying the sunshine! The farmers have also been lucky too! The hot weather has seemed to dried out many of the damp fields and everywhere I look there are combine harvests reaping in the crop for the year. The field at the back of our house was harvested this afternoon. Usually it is a wheat field but this year it was an oil seed rape field which was pretty but gave me bad hay fever T_T Either way I really love living in the countryside because I love watching how the landscape changed dramatically with the seasons. At the moment all the hillsides are beautiful and golden with the freshly harvested crop, as the seasons change so will the colours.
Anyway I have to get going. I'll leave you with a pretty picture from my garden of a bee enjoying the lavender!

Bees ^.^

Dear readers,

Since March much has happened! I have firmed my university, sorted out my accommodation and secured my finance, as well attending college and starting my exams- have a sociology exam tomorrow :( But this time next week I should have finished my exams and only have a few pieces of coursework left to do! I will be so glad to finish my course so I can get back to writing!
On the plus side the weather has changed dramatically from weeks of cold wet rainy days to endless days of summery spring! The countryside where I live has exploded into lush green and pretty blossoms, everywhere I look there is flowers and bees and butterflies :) What is particularly sweet is that while sitting out in the garden the other day I saw a little mason bee flying in and out of a hole in one of the garden chairs. Initially I panicked thinking that if there was one bee, then there must also be a swarm- but a little bit of research later and I found out that this bee was a mason bee and lived alone! I felt so sorry for the little bee having to make its home in the deck chair...solitary bees are having a hard time finding a home nowadays because of the loss of their natural habitat :( But luckily I read that there is a way to help these bees by buying or making a bee box! So yesterday on my lunch break I went to the local garden centre and brought a bee box. This morning we hung it up and by lunch time there was one little bee busily making its nest ^.^ I'll try and get some more pics to show you guys next time! Until then enjoy the sunshine!!

Student Finance.....T_T......

Dear readers,

(I constantly wonder if I should use an upper case R for readers lol)

*Face plant keyboard*

So, I began my student finance today and for those of you who are unaware of the British student finance service it is a place where us students go to get our loans for university…. *yay for debt*. Anywhoo, I began my application and let’s just say that I can confirm the rumours about student finance being a tedious process. Unfortunately I don’t have straight forward circumstances which means that if I don’t play by the book I’m going to get screwed over T_T  Initially student finance told me that I would be liable to pay the first year of student fees which is around £9000- which is bad because I’m poor as a church mouse :( However after persistent enquiries, I have found out that I can apply for my special circumstances to be taken into consideration – whoo!! Then they will give my loan and I can go to university- which in this context seems easy enough but I think I have some serious administrative hoop jumping ahead me.
Perseverance is the key here and it reminds me of an old internet proverb...

March ^.^

Dear Readers,

Okay it may have been snowing at the weekend, but March for me is truly the start of spring! The snowdrops, the crocuses and the daffodils are blooming and mother nature is waking up from her winter sleep! Roll on summer! The downside to the onslaught of milder weather is the pollen count...damn you hayfever T_T But I'm looking forward to hazy summer days with my friends and family before heading to uni in September ^.^ I'm really looking forward to seeing my older sister who moved to Sydney a few years ago. Since going to Australia I really miss her and can't wait for her to come back to visit the UK in September! Okay, well that's the mundane rambling bit over.

On a work perspective I'm spending a lot of time focusing on the 'Pink Wedding Dress' (PWD). The Fox Girl has kinda of got pushed to one side. The return of Luc and Mia has made me feel particularly excited about writing new chapters, so I'm channeling that energy into making headway with PWD story lines. At the moment in PWD Luc and Mia have moved into a trailer park to stay out of danger. I like the idea of vampires living in a trailer park because it's kinda of counter intuitive, vampire lairs are typically isolated medieval lavish castles, so the idea of vampire living in trailer seemed an interesting concept. A trailer park in America has many different connotations and I want to present a more humanistic side, where it represents a poor but close knit community that these vampires have to permeate. It effectively becomes the bipolar extreme of the rich, cold, deceptive, social climbing vampire court that Luc has been brought up in. I hope it doesn't come across as too whimsical but I am looking forward to it ^.^
